Two Different Worlds

One boy
Handsome and charming
Funny and unique
One girl
Lonely and sad
Ugly and broken
From two different worlds
Have found eachother
But it's no longer working
She sees how she holds him back
He says it's over
And her heart aches
But she knows it's best
One boy, one girl, two different worlds
Her fantasy fades to a thing of the past
But his happiness is what matters
She wants to give him the world
But her broken hands only crumble it
She reads his words
And her eyes burn
And her heart yearns
But she knows why they can't be together
They are from two different worlds

GoodBye

So alone, in the hall
emptiness all around
her teary eyes
blur the world
they all walk by
not stopping
nobody cares
she sits on the bench
and cries out her eyes
seeking a friend
to save her from herself
but the only friend
that she finds
is the razor in her hand
she hid it away
swearing never to cut again
but nobody notices her
not today
would they notice another cut
would they care if they saw
she's all alone
feeling empty inside
her whole world has changed
and she has lost control
she's done numbing the pain
tonight she's ending it
she's said "it's over" before
but tonight is different
tonight no one can stop her
every tear she cried today
will dry with her blood
as she bleeds beneath the moon
and washes away the pain
with the rain
her blade has kissed her skin
and as she stands
it runs down her leg
she keeps walking
one more class
one more hour to live
she'll make it worth it
the blood will dry
the wound will start to heal
and she will open it again
one last time
tonight
all
alone
she says
goodbye

Unnoticed

Little girl alone in the back of the room
staring straight ahead
she cries
the tears streaming down her face
she doesn't bother wiping them away
nobody notices them anyways
Little girl goes unnoticed another day
she sits all alone
staring off in the distance
nobody notices her
just like any other day
the tears fall to the floor
they fall on her arms
onto her lap
they fall and fall
she doesn't care
and neither does anyone else
she doesn't bother wiping them away
she goes unnoticed another day

His eyes

That look in his eyes, it's gone
the one I loved so much
they don't sparkle the same way,
not anymore
I look into them
and the stare back at me
like I'm just another face
those eyes aren't the ones I love
they have became something strange

Innocence

Innocent little girl with sparkling eyes
Stares out the window
Watching the world spin by
Her mind so simple, so innocent
Brightly colored flowers dance in her mind
She doesn't have a care in the world
This innocent girl
Has died, killed by her own hand
She started painting crimson pictures
Destroying her innocence day by day
Her eyes no longer sparkle
Only glisten with tears
Her mind has become deathly, murderous
Killing her more each day
The monster inside has eaten her innocence
This little girl is no more
She has starved, withered away

Butterfly

Butterfly so tiny and small
You flutter your wings
Through it all
Even when the angels don't sing
Oh so delicate you are
Flying through the rain
You've traveled so far
Enduring so much pain
Your colors still shine so bright
So small, yet so strong
Fighting troubles day and night
Trying to right all that's wrong
Butterfly so tiny and small
You flutter your wings
Through it all
Even when the angels don't sing

The Butterfly

Blue, purple and black
drawn upon my wrist
it means everything to me
this butterfly
keeps me from breaking down
that blade would kill this beautiful thing
bleeding away the beauty
Blue, purple and black
drawn upon my wrist
it gives me strength
this butterfly
holds me together
protecting me from myself
Blue, purple and black
colors of strength
this butterfly
is my everything

Eight years

Eight long years
I have held back these tears
You took away te safety if my bed
At night, I'm afraid to lay down my head
Eight years ago you hurt me
You couldn't let me be
Are you happy you took my innocence away
Happy knowing I don't want to love another day
I hope our happy, me, I'm forever scarred
Thanks to you trust for me is hard
Nothing I can do will make this go away
That night is in my memory to stay
Eight long years
I have fought these tears
But tonight I'm letting go
And you'll never know

----

My smile is fading away
It's getting harder each day
I feel like I'm just an object to you
Something you'll throw away when you're through
Each day I look into your eyes
Seeking the truth finding only lies
To think I'm only a toy hurts me
That is not what I want to be
I want to be more
Do you even want me anymore
I thought we were gonna be great
But now I've realized my fate
To you I am only a toy
Just like with every other boy

Loner Girl

Sitting on the floor with your knees to your chest
staring absently at the rest
scared of what they would do if they knew
all that was inside of you
sadness reaches deep into your dreams
you look around realsing silent screams
no one else seems to hear
or see what you do in the mirror
you're just a loner girl
waiting for someone to give you the world

Memory That Won't Fade

The room is cold and black
all those memories come flooding back
a lonely girl, so fragile and small
screams for someone, anyone at all
she can't shake this frightening feeling
or stop her head from reeling
All the tears tonight have dried
it can't be forgotten, she's tried
days, months, years have gone by
she keeps living this lie
the strength she had wasn't enough
he saw through her bluff
everything she had, he took away
nobody had made him pay
she is eternally scarred
her insides broken and marred
he never knew what he put her through
a mistake she can never undo
the word hurts to be spoken aloud
the tears are like rain from a cloud
he's probably forgotten, she never shall
he was a rpaist not her pal
a danger she'd have never seen
before he was never mean
her trust has faded away
in her memory that nigh is bound to stay

Little One

Little one, walking home, nobody sees your pain
They can't see your tears through the rain
Mommy and Daddy don't seem to care
just how hard each day is to bear
You fight the pain and make it through
deep inside there is a strength in you
Dad aftr day you wear a plastic smile
even if it is just for awhile

Lullaby

Close your eyes, rest your head
forget the day and go to bed
lose yourself in the music's beat
let it wash away this feeling of defeat
slowly drift into sleep
one by one count the sheep
let your cares drift away
worry about them another day

A Boy and A Girl

An old tree
fallen down and decaying
two teenage kids
hiding from the world
a girl with an abusive mother
a boy with a broken heart
holding eachother close
trying to protect one another

trash all around
soda cans and plastic bags
two broken people
hiding from the world
a girl with cuts on her arm
a boy with gashes on his chest
holding eachother close
accepting one another's flaws

blue cloudless skies
hiding about green trees
so beautiful
two hurting souls
hiding from the world
a girl with skinny jeans
a boy with converse on his feet
hiding from the world
holding eachotehr close
loving one another unconditionally

Christmas is Here, Promising Forever

We lay on the couch, cuddling close
I'm wearing one of your sweaters
it's oversized and warm

Outside the window, the snow is falling
the tree is in the corner
covered with lights
a roasting fire, heating the house

Christmas is here

Around my neck is my favorite present
a single silver heart on a silver chain
our intials engraved in the center

promising forever

around your finger is a silver ring
the only ring you ever wore
I love you engraved all around

promising forever
