Loner Girl

Sitting on the floor with your knees to your chest
staring absently at the rest
scared of what they would do if they knew
all that was inside of you
sadness reaches deep into your dreams
you look around realsing silent screams
no one else seems to hear
or see what you do in the mirror
you're just a loner girl
waiting for someone to give you the world

Memory That Won't Fade

The room is cold and black
all those memories come flooding back
a lonely girl, so fragile and small
screams for someone, anyone at all
she can't shake this frightening feeling
or stop her head from reeling
All the tears tonight have dried
it can't be forgotten, she's tried
days, months, years have gone by
she keeps living this lie
the strength she had wasn't enough
he saw through her bluff
everything she had, he took away
nobody had made him pay
she is eternally scarred
her insides broken and marred
he never knew what he put her through
a mistake she can never undo
the word hurts to be spoken aloud
the tears are like rain from a cloud
he's probably forgotten, she never shall
he was a rpaist not her pal
a danger she'd have never seen
before he was never mean
her trust has faded away
in her memory that nigh is bound to stay

Little One

Little one, walking home, nobody sees your pain
They can't see your tears through the rain
Mommy and Daddy don't seem to care
just how hard each day is to bear
You fight the pain and make it through
deep inside there is a strength in you
Dad aftr day you wear a plastic smile
even if it is just for awhile
