looks in the mirror
sees a shattered reflection
imperfect and broken

watches from the shadows
watching the beautiful and cruel world
seeing the crushed spirits of all

scarred and bleeding
drowning in tears of sadness
hiding in a world of lies

so lonely and sad
unloved and unwanted
feeling as though she's never good enough
